RPMS Version 8 Progress Report – Version 8 now shipping

Selected current EMA subscribers will be receiving E-Mails authorizing their release of RPMS Version 8. The link to this release is available only from that E-Mail, and has an authorization code for the new Pervasive.SQL database.
You must have previously installed either 7.9.15 or 7.9.16 to upgrade to RPMS Version 8. You must have EMA coverage through June 2010 to run the 8.0.4 update.

To see your EMA coverage period, click Help, About RPMS (V7 or V8). The last line indicates your EMA Coverage Through date.

Enhancements and Fixes by Version Number

8.0.4 (5/31/10)

• All new Pervasive.SQL (V10 Summit) file and record handling database included free of charge. Full client/server processing for multi-user installations.
• Automatic Conversion of 7.9.15 or later data to RPMS Version 8 data
  
• Fixed a bug that caused inactive principals to be displayed on product summary report, and fixed a bug that caused a 3167 error during snapshot printing if quotation characters were in the entity name.
